They say the owl was a baker's daughter,

To sleep, perchance to dream.

You can't help that; we're all mad here

The moral, 'twas be what you seem.

Perhaps Ophelia had it right,

Or the baker's daughter was a bird.

But grinning cat knew more than Alice;

His message in a single word.

I think, therefore I'm mad,

And I'm mad, therefore I think.
