She was walking down the hall, hugging her binder close, keeping her head down. She stayed close to the walls, so she could keep interaction to a minimum. Suddenly there was somebody in front of her.

She mumbled, "Excuse me," and tried to go around. The body stepped in front of her again.

She looked up. It was a classmate from her Calculus… what was his name?

"Did you always have glasses?"

She blinked. "Um, I'm sorry, what?"

He tapped her glasses, causing her to flinch. "I don't recall you wearing these before."

She pushed her glasses up a bit, saying, "The legs were too wide to stay on. I couldn't get them fixed till recently."

"I see."

Suddenly, he snatched them off her face.

"Ouch! Hey, give 'em back!" She reached for them as he held them high above her head. This guy was way too freakin' tall!

She watched helplessly as he bent the legs back to their original position.

"What the heck is wrong with you?" she asked as he handed them back to her.

"You shouldn't hide behind those ridiculous-looking things. Show off your face a bit more," he called out as he walking away, leaving her fuming.
