I decided to try my hand at some morality poems... I'm not sure how I feel about the outcome, but I am not inclined toward the genre normally. You are welcome to see what you make of them. This is a two part series.

Darkness pulses
silent and deep
And in it's cradle
horrors sleep
Gremlins, goblins
and other things
Sirens' calls
and tormented beings
Creeping rot
and despair
Ruin all that
once was fair
So from caverns
holes, wells, and night
Keep thy feet my child
and stay in my sight
Abide in light
and keep to day
For Dark's desires
seek only to betray
