Liath and Sona walked ahead of Rose and Franky and Liath tried to keep Sona from running back to the apartment and changing clothes. Liath looped her arm around her sister's and said, "It's alright Sona. You look great. He's going to like your dress so quit worrying about it."
"I don't know though. It's just what if he doesn't like it. What if he likes some other girl?" Sona said quickly. Liath tightens her hold on Sona's arm and points down the road at the line outside the club.
"It's alright and it's too late to head back now cause we're here." Liath said. Sona groaned softly and hides behind Liath as they walk through the entrance. Liath smiled and waved to Daz when he pointed to the DJ station at the front of the dance floor. Liath grabbed Sona's arm and pulled her in that area. Sona tried to break free from Liath's hold but couldn't.
Liath stopped in front of Xavi and pushed Sona behind her. Xavi glanced down before smiling and waving to Liath. Liath waved back and motioned for Xavi to come down to talk. Xavi nodded before telling the crowd that he was taking a second. Xavi hopped down and smiled widely at her.
"You can call me by my name. I'm not on a mission this time." Liath told him. Xavi nodded and tried to look at the person behind her. Liath laughed and shooed him away. "Will you quit snooping? Who's the one person he's been asking to see again for a while now?"
Xavi grinned and said, "You brought Sona with you didn't you?" Liath grinned and stepped from in front of Sona so he can see her. Xavi smiled brightly and hugged Sona when she waved at him shyly. Sona blushed pink and hugged him back. Xavi pulled back and blushed when he saw her dress.
"Your dress looks really nice on you, Sona." He told her. Sona ducked her head to hide her blushing face. Liath grinned and nudged her sister forward. Sona swatted at her sister's hands and crossed her arms. Liath chuckled at her sister and whispered to Sona, "This is your chance to find out if he likes you or not. He hardly let's anyone help him DJ so ask."
"Hey Xavi is it alright if I DJ with you. I'm not much of a dancer like Liath." Sona asked while rubbing her arms nervously. Xavi nodded his head quickly and helped Sona up onto the DJ stage. Sona turned pink and smiled as Xavi started showing her what everything did. Liath grinned and turned to see where everyone else was at. Bear, who Liath learned was named Bentley, was talking with Melissa at the bar. Melissa was talking adamantly and Bentley was smiling happily at her. Liath smiled and shifted her focus to the dance floor, immediately found Rose and Franky dancing the night away.
"If you're looking for Lion, he took the hidden stairs to the roof." Liath jumped as a voice snapped her out of her thoughts. She spun around with her fist raised to slug the person who startled her. Daz raised his hands in defense and Liath lowered her fist before sighing in relief.
"Don't do that Daz. You know I hate it when people walk up behind me when I'm thinking." Liath remarked.
Daz chuckled and said, "I know that now. Head up the stairs and that's where Lion is."
Liath nods and darts over to the staircase hidden by the stage before climbing up the steps two at a time. She quickly pushed open the roof door and looked around for Solas. She spotted him sitting on the edge of the roof, looking up at the stars. Liath slipped through the gap and walked over to him.
"Thought you told Bear and Fox you were going to dance to clear your head. DIdn't figure sitting on the roof as dancing." Liath said causing Solas to jump in surprise at her presence. Solas turned around to face her and froze in his spot, eyes widening in surprise. Liath tugged at the bottom of her dress to calm her nervousness and cleared her throat. Solas shook his head to snap him out of the trance he fell in.
"J-Just c-c-came out h-h-here to clean my head is all." Solas stuttered out, cursing at his stuttering. Liath smiled and sat down beside him. Solas turned pink and focused back on the skyline in front of him.
Liath swung her legs and said, "I know who you really are Lion."
"Do you really know or are you just guessing?" Solas questioned lightly.
"Yes. Your real name is actually Solas and you were my best friend when we were both in middle school. We did everything together and I stuck up for you when the bullies came around." Liath explained looking down at the line of people outside the club. Solas smiled and leaned back on his hands.
"So you finally figure out my name after a few years. Guess I should be happy but can't really keep happiness around the compound. Dad tends to squish it before it can grow." Solas said bitterly. Liath nodded and leaned against his side like she used to. Solas smiled slightly and wrapped an arm around her shoulders causing Liath to turn a light pink. Liath fiddled with her fingers and chewed on her lip in thought.
"Solas can you tell me why you had to leave so sudden?" Liath questioned softly. Solas scratched the back of his neck and sat up straighter.
"You're not going to like what I have to say all that much." Solas said, looking off to the side. Liath leaned forward and lightly touched his hand to reassure him. Solas sighed and clenched his fist tightly. "Dorcha is my father and he forced me to follow in his footsteps about leading the gang. I'm supposed to take over tomorrow and I just don't want to. No matter how many times I tell him. He just won't listen."
Liath flinched at the news and took a deep breath to calm back down. She looked up at the stars in thought and finally said. "I'm not happy he is your father but you can't control who your family is. You will have to live with them. There isn't much you can do about that. Heck at times I didn't even like my father. He did some things I'm not proud of but I have to live with it. And maybe you taking over might be a good thing you never know Solas." Liath said.
Solas sighed and said, "That may be true but at least I'll know one thing about tomorrow. I'll have a Wolf leading the gang when I'm gone that is if you want to be my second in command Liath."
Liath blushed brightly and thanked her lucky starts that it was so dark out that Solas couldn't see her blush. She chewed on her lip in thought. 'I want to get Sona away from the gang and that means leaving Solas behind again but I do want to be with Solas though. Ugh why does this have to be so complicated?' Liath thought frustrated.
"I know you want to get Sona out of here and I don't blame you. Talk with her about this and then give me your answer about second in command. But I do want your answer to this, the day before I left, you had decided on something. What was it?" Solas said. If it was even possible, Liath turned even darker than before.
"Well I...um...I...IhaddecidedthatIwasgoingtotellyouthatIlikedyoualot."Liath exclaimed quickly. Solas blinked a few times and nudged Liath's shoulder.
"Mind slowing that down Liath. I can't understand blurred words." Solas said.
Liath took a few deep breaths and said, "I had decided that I was going to tell you that I liked you a lot."
Solas smiled brightly and leaned down to kiss her cheek. Liath looked up at the same time and their lips met in an accidental kiss. Both Liath and Solas turned scarlet red and Liath tried to pull away but Solas placed his hand at the back of her head. Liath's eyes fluttered shut and she relaxed into the kiss. Solas closed his eyes and tiled his head to deepen the kiss.
"Well well, what do we have here?" A voice asked a loud, causing Liath and Solas to jerk apart.
