I'm sorry
These are the words that tumble
From the overflowing apologies I hold back
when i speak
unintentional repetition
bruised from the moment they leak from my lips
dripping, dropping
crashing
crushed beneath the waves
drowning,
It is my ocean
But your assurance is my lifeboat
that carries me ashore
And I,
the storm bringer
can only wonder about the stinging salt.
A/N: I've had a couple friends point out how much i say sorry in the past and I guess its been too much of a habit. Review?
Update: Deleted some lines for more impact?
