Wings In The Sky

When you were born

They tell you, "Fly free, love,

The sky is yours."

When you grow up

You flutter in the breeze

Buffeted by blowing winds

They say, " Patience, love,

Your wings are yet to be strong."

You unfurl your shimmering wings

You look at them

Definitely stronger

You fly once again

And before you can taste freedom

You plummet to your fall

You flew too high.

They say, "Courage, love,

Lessons are seldom painless."

Your wings regrow

But you don't find strength in them,

You find strength in your heart

This time you fly, you take off

And for the first time feel one with the clouds

For the first time, feel light as the wind.

They say, "Freedom love,

You are the sky."
