Chapter 6: Auryon
3:00 PM, School Entrance
What the hell is happening at this school?
A couple days ago, students from different classes were actually trying to hang out with each other, and as if that wasn't unbelievable enough, now they're talking to each other after school like there's not a single difference between them!
I always believed that this school was created to isolate people, to put them into classes based on who they were. Now that purpose has no meaning anymore! In my opinion, it makes no sense whatsoever. In fact, it makes me angry. Not only do I have to be isolated in my own class, I get to see other classes being all chummy with one another like this has been the atmosphere all along.
Oh well, at least my class is rebelling against this happy-go-lucky feeling that's suddenly been spread throughout the school. I haven't seen any of my classmates participating in it, and I'm pretty glad. If others can't understand the real message of this school, then at least we will.
If Almas, Casimirs, and Divyatmas want to be all friendly with each other, let them. They'll eventually realize that they're wrong about the mission that this school has. The teachers will discourage the current atmosphere, and everything will go back to normal.
Things aren't going back to normal.
I had hope earlier this week, when our classes gave us these rings that had designs in the gem that were specific to each class. The rings themselves also had designs specific to each class. Now it's easy to tell who belongs to which class just by looking at their hand.
I had hoped that this would be a successful form of isolation between classes, but nothing about the relationships that I've seen has changed. In fact, I've overheard compliments between students from different classes on their ring design, saying that it's "pretty" and "mystifying".
Looks like the Ocran class is going to have to take matters into our own hands, or things are only going to get worse from here.
