Chapter 15

A little while later, Adam stood outside of Tamera's workplace. With a heavy sigh, he entered the building and scooted passed the reception desk and straight toward the elevators. Entering the elevator, he was alone and pressed for Tamera's floor. As the elevator reached his floor and the doors opened, he made his way to Tamera's desk. She was sat on her chair, focusing on the paperwork in front of her.

"Hey" he said. She looked up in surprise.

"Hey. What are you doing here?" she wondered.

"Can I talk to you for a minute?" he asked.

"Sure."

"Not here" he said and grabbed her by the hand. He led her to an empty meeting room and closed the door. She sat down on the table.

"Everything ok?" she inquired, looking worried.

"Yeah. I want to talk" he replied.

"Then talk."

"Ok" he started as he paced back and forth. Adam never said a word in over a minute, but just continued pacing.

"Adam? Are you sure you are ok?" Tamera asked, stopping him in his tracks.

"Look Tamera, I- I think you are a great girl and I really like you-"

"Oh god. You're breaking up with me" Tamera stated.

"What? No. I'm not" Adam assured her.

"You're not? It sounded like a line you use when breaking it off with someone" Tamera mentioned.

"No. The complete opposite actually. Tamera, I've been thinking and realised that when you care about someone, the way I care for you, then there's only one thing to do" Adam said. Tamera looked on in confusion and in sudden surprise when Adam knelt down on one knee.

"Whoa. What are you doing?" Tamera questioned. Adam then pulled out a little box and opened it up to present her with a ring.

"Tamera Jane Austin, will you marry me?"

"What? Adam, are you crazy? We have only been dating a few months."

"I know, but I also know how I feel. I want to take care of you and treat you the way you deserve to be treated. So, will you?" he explained.

"I- I-" she paused, looking deep in thought. Looking down at him, she suddenly smiled.

"Yes" Tamera whispered.

"Yes?"

"Yes" she repeated. Adam smiled, picking her up off the table and spun her round. Tamera kissed him and screamed with glee as he put the ring on her finger.

"I can't believe this. We need to celebrate. I can't wait to tell my sisters" she squealed, pulling him in for a hug.

"Yeah. Can't wait" Adam said.

It was soon night time at Libby's house. Inside her room, Libby sat staring into space and her cheeks still wet from the tears of the day. Pamela appeared at the doorway and looked at Libby with such empathy.

"You going to be ok?" Pamela asked, making herself known to Libby.

"Yeah. I mean some day I will, but not today" Libby sniffed.

"It's for the best" Pamela assured her.

"Is it? The only man I have ever been in love with, hates me."

"I know, but it was the only way. You have to realise that" Pamela said.

"I do. I do realise that. Still doesn't make it hurt any less" Libby mumbled.

"What do you think he's going to do now? I mean he wouldn't break up with her, would he?" Pamela wondered.

"I don't know. Guess we have to wait to find out" Libby said and started to cry again. Pamela embraced her again. Suddenly, they heard the front door open and Tamera calling them to come down. Libby quickly dried her eyes and went downstairs with Pamela. Pamela stood on the last step, while Libby stopped halfway and looked over the bannister to see Tamera and Adam holding hands.

"What's going on?" Pamela asked.

"Guys we have something to tell you" Tamera said excitedly. Libby was trying not to look Adam in the eye, but it was no use. He looked back with so much hate in his eyes that she diverted her eyes to Tamera.

"We're getting married" Tamera squealed, flashing the ring towards them. Pamela and Libby looked on in surprise.

"What? You guys have only been dating a few months, how are you getting married?" Pamela questioned.

"Well let's face it, it was probably going to happen sooner or later right? Why not now? You guys not happy for me?" Tamera asked.

"Yes very happy for you. It's just a hell of a surprise. Right, Libby?" Pamela said.

"Uh yeah. A big surprise. Excuse me I have to go the bathroom" she muttered and went back upstairs.

"She's not been feeling well" Pamela lied.

"Oh well I was going to have a party to celebrate, but if she's not alright I can have it another time" Tamera mentioned.

"Oh I'm sure she will be alright. I think a party is the best thing and if she feels better, she could always come down, right?" Adam spoke.

"I suppose so" Pamela replied.

"Good. Let's celebrate" Adam said.

Rushing into the bathroom and locking the door, Libby started to find it hard to breathe. Her hands held onto the sink and she tried to catch her breath, but to no avail. She covered her mouth so no one could hear her as she started to cry. Her legs became weak and she collapsed to the floor, weeping.

Some time later, soft music was playing downstairs with the people Tamera had invited to celebrate her engagement. Everyone had a glass of champagne as they all stood talking with each other. Tamera invited so many people that it was pretty crowded. Tamera's work colleagues and Adam's colleagues were all stood together, with the exception of Terry. Terry was by the table that had the alcohol. He was downing champagne like they were going to run out. Sal was stood talking with Tamera and Adam. Pamela stood at the side of them, trying to look happy. As she noticed Terry, Pamela made her way to him.

"Can you believe he's doing this?" Pamela asked.

"He's clearly trying to get back at Libby and using Tamera to do it" she spat, not waiting for a response.

"Adam isn't that kind of guy. He must actually like her" Terry said, grabbing a new bottle of champagne.

"Oh please. He was all for breaking up with her before Libby lied and told him what we wanted her to" she muttered.

"How did I get roped into this? It was your idea to have him hate her" he pointed out.

"It was the only way to stop him from breaking up my family" she argued.

"Well you got your wish."

"Yeah, but I didn't expect him to fucking propose" she shot at him.

"You are very hard to please. Has anyone ever told you that?" Terry shot back.

"Has anyone ever told you that you drink too much?"

"Yes. Lot of people. Never stops me though" he said, knocking back another glass of champagne. She rolled her eyes.

"I hope Libby is ok. Maybe I should go check on her" she muttered.

"Check on who?" someone asked from behind. Pamela turned to see Adam.

"Libby. I should go see if she's feeling better" Pamela said.

"I'll go and check on her" Adam offered.

"I should really go. I mean I am her sister."

"It's fine. I'll go and try to smile. Anyone would think you are not happy about this" he said and left to go upstairs. She sighed and looked to Terry.

"Give me that" Pamela said, snatching the bottle of champagne and took a big swig from it.

Upstairs, Adam looked through the crack of Libby's bedroom door and saw that she was lay on her bed looking to be asleep. As he entered her room, she was in fact asleep. It wasn't long before she began to stir. As she opened her eyes to see Adam, she shot up in her bed in fear.

"You know there is quite a party going on downstairs and you are up here sleeping. Come celebrate" he said.

"Not really in the mood to celebrate" Libby muttered, avoiding meeting his eyes.

"I get it. The plan to get rid of me has failed. It's bound to make you irritable" he mentioned.

"Why are you doing this? If it's to get back at me-"

"Get back at you?" he interrupted her.

"This has nothing to do with you" he added. Tears filled her eyes, but she refused to let them fall.

"I went to her work today after your confession. I was there to break up with her. That way I wouldn't have to see your face ever again. Problem was I couldn't do it. I realised what I did behind her back- it wasn't fair to her. She's an incredibly wonderful and beautiful woman who doesn't deserve what I did to her. I went after her sister, a girl who I thought loved me just as much as I loved her. I guess that makes me an idiot for even thinking that. I care about Tamera even more than I hate you and I'm going to give her the life she deserves" he said and turned to leave.

"Meeting you in Haven seemed like fate to me. Thinking about it now, it was more like a curse" he added and left the room. Libby's tears that she had forced not to fall, began to fall and she started weeping into her pillow. Suddenly outside of Libby's bedroom, the bathroom door opened and Tamera emerged from it having heard the whole conversation with a shocked look on her face.

The morning after, Tamera sat silently in the kitchen cupping a mug full of coffee. She wore matching PJ's with strawberries over them and a pink robe. The coffee had gone cold she had held it for so long without taking a sip out of it. She stared into space trying to make sense of what she had heard the night before. She was too out of it to notice Pamela coming in. Pamela saw her and looked confused.

"Tamera?" Pamela called out to her. She stopped staring and looked in Pamela's direction.

"Hey. You not go work today?" Pamela wondered.

"No" she mumbled back and began staring again.

"You ok? I mean you got engaged yesterday, shouldn't you be singing like a Disney princess or something?" Pamela joked.

"Maybe later" uttered Tamera. She turned towards the sink to pour her coffee down the drain.

"Is Libby here?" Tamera wondered as she slowly emptied the contents of the mug.

"I think she left for work a while ago" Pamela replied.

"Right. Work. Probably the best place to be right now." Pamela walked up to the side of her and took the mug from her and placed it on the counter top.

"I think it's empty" Pamela told her.

"Are you ok?" Pamela questioned.

"I should probably go" Tamera said and started to leave.

"Where are you going?" Pamela asked.

"Work" she said and headed out the door.

"Wait, Tamera you aren't even dressed yet" Pamela called out, but she had already gone. Pamela stood completely dumbfounded.

Inside Libby's work, there were quite a couple of people she had to serve. It had just turned noon and the lunch rush had started. Roxy was behind her stocking sandwiches having returned from her honeymoon. The girl who had temporarily replaced her was also wiping tables down as they needed extra hands for how busy it was. Libby stood behind the counter serving people at the till.

"Ok, here's your change. Have a good day" Libby said to a customer as she handed over there money. As the customer left the queue, Libby looked to see Tamera was next in the queue.

"Tamera? Are you wearing PJ's?" Libby wondered, looking confused.

"I need to talk to you" Tamera urged.

"Now?"

"Yes."

"We are kind of busy, like really busy" she pointed out.

"Please" Tamera begged.

"It's alright. I'll cover for you" Roxy said behind her.

"Ok" Libby said and took Tamera by the hand ushering her into the back room closing the door behind them.

"Ok, what's up and why are you wearing PJ's?" Libby questioned.

"I- are you- do you think I'm making a mistake marrying Adam?"

"I- I um- why are you asking me this?" Libby wondered.

"Do you?" Tamera urged her for an answer.

"It doesn't matter what I think. It's what you think, right?"

"I need to know what you think" Tamera said.

"You deserve to be happy and if Adam makes you happy, who am I to stand in the way?"

"Is that truly how you feel?"

"Yes. I love you so much and I only want what's best for you. If Adam's it, then I'm happy for you" Tamera put her arms around Libby and hugged her tightly.

"I love you" Tamera muttered with tears in her eyes.

"I love you too" Libby said, a single tear falling down her cheek.

"I have to go. I'll see you later" Tamera whispered and left. Once Tamera had left, Roxy came through to see Libby.

"Hey" she said.

"Hey" Libby sniffed.

"I'm proud of you for doing that. It must have been hard" Roxy muttered.

"Yeah. I don't think I can go home and see them together though, might be too much for me. She truly deserves the world. I hope she gets everything she wants" she said and began crying again. Roxy rushed to hug her.

"I'll tell you what. How about you come to stay at my house for a couple of days and hopefully you can get over him?" Roxy offered.

"Ok" she muffed through her shirt and hugged her tighter.

Down the road, Adam was working on the flooring of a new house build. As he was hammering away, he heard whistling coming from at the side of him, but chose to ignore it. Terry tapped him on the shoulder to catch his attention. He stopped hammering and Terry pointed behind him. As he looked behind him, he saw Tamera in her PJ's near the entrance. He got up and walked over to her.

"Tamera, what are you doing here and what's with the PJ's?" he wondered.

"I wanted to tell you something" Tamera replied.

"Ok. What is it?"

"I can't marry you."

"What? Why not?"

"Because I know" she informed him.

"You know what?"

"I know about you and my sister." A look of surprise and worry appeared on his face.

"I-"

"Relax. I'm not here to punch or slap you or anything like that" Tamera interrupted.

"So, you are the guy she met in Haven? I didn't see that coming. I wished I had seen it sooner, that way I wouldn't feel like an idiot."

"You are not an idiot. I'm sorry. I never meant to hurt you-"

"It's ok. Really, it's really ok. You can't control who you fall for."

"How did you find out?" he inquired.

"I heard you and Libby talking last night when I went to the bathroom" she replied.

"I'm sorry."

"It's fine. If you and Libby want to be together, who am I to stand in the way?"

"Tamera, me and Libby can't- it's not going to happen" he mentioned.

"What are you talking about?"

"Libby doesn't love me. She only pretended to break us up" he told her.

"If you believe that, then you are a bigger idiot than me. I know my sister pretty well and I know when she says she feels something for someone, she feels it. She can't pretend. She is really bad at it" she pointed out.

"No she hates me. I hate her for what she did to me. You're wrong."

"If I'm so wrong, why did she cry the minute you left the room last night?" she argued.

"She cried?" he wondered.

"Buckets."

"Think about it, she loves me so much that she was even willing to give you up for my happiness. And how do you get someone to choose your sister over yourself? Have them hate you" she explained.

"She loves me?"

"Duh. The question is, what are you going to do about it?" she asked.

"Thank you" he said. Throwing his helmet to the ground and throwing his hi vis vest, he left the work site.

As soon as he left the work site, he started to pick up the pace. Before he knew it, he started running down the road. When he approached Libby's work, he saw a crowd of people surrounding the entrance. He tried to squeeze passed the crowd and managed to get to the front to see the shutters down. In front, a guy was pounding on the shutter door.

"Hey, what's going on?" Adam inquired.

"Apparently, they ran out of sandwiches. How can you run out of sandwiches? Now I'm going to have to go subway" the man angrily ranted. Leaving the crowd, Adam started running again. He ran for ten minutes until he got to her house. He stopped for a moment at the doorway to catch his breath and ran through calling out her name. He looked in the kitchen and was about to look upstairs, but was stopped by Pamela coming down the stairs.

"What's with the commotion?" Pamela asked.

"Is Libby here?"

"She was, but she left."

"Where?"

"What's with the sudden urgency? Why do you need Libby?"

"Because I love her and I want to be with her" he confessed.

"I knew you were doing this whole marriage thing to get back at her. You Jackass!" she shouted and started slapping him repeatedly. Adam held his arms to protect himself from her blows. It wasn't until Tamera entered the house and called out Pamela to stop. As she stopped, Adam made some distance between himself and her.

"Pamela. It's ok." Tamera assured her.

"What do you mean it's ok?" Pamela questioned.

"Adam and Libby are in love."

"You know?" Pamela asked.

"You know?" Tamera repeated.

"Yes. I figured it out when we all went out to dinner."

"You have known for that long?" Tamera wondered, surprised by her answer.

"Yes. That's why I had a talk with her to get her to make him hate-" she stopped realising what she was about to say.

"You got her to lie and say she didn't love me, didn't you?" Adam asked.

"Um no." she said. Adam looked in disbelief.

"Ok maybe I did. I was trying to keep my family together" Pamela admitted. He rolled his eyes.

"Where is Libby?" he questioned.

"She left with Roxy about fifteen minutes ago."

"Roxy's house. I'll take you" Tamera offered.

"I'm coming too" Pamela told them as they all rushed to the car.

Inside the car, Tamera started speeding down the road. Pamela held onto her seatbelt in the back seat and Adam held onto the grab handle on the passenger side.

"I don't get how you are ok with this. I mean are you not mad?" Pamela called out to Tamera.

"I was a little, until I met a cute builder at Adam's work site. His name is Roger" Tamera announced.

"Roger Stevenson?" Adam asked.

"Yeah."

"Huh. I would have thought Chuck would be more your ideal guy" Adam admitted.

"Nah. Roger has those baby blue eyes that I could just melt in" Tamera said.

"Does anybody else find it strange you are discussing guys with each other when a second ago, you were engaged?" Pamela wondered.

"I don't find it weird" Tamera said.

"Yeah me either" Adam agreed.

"Ok" Pamela said and looked out the window.

Outside of Roxy's house, Tamera pulled up and Adam jumped out with Pamela and Tamera not far behind. He started to knock continuously, until the door opened. As Roxy stood there, Adam pushed passed her calling Libby's name.

"Hey get out of my house" Roxy ordered.

"Where's Libby?" he asked.

"She's not here. Get out of my house now or I'm calling the police" Roxy warned.

"Where can I find Libby?"

"Why would I tell you that? Haven't you done enough to hurt her?" Roxy replied.

"Roxy please tell him where she is" Tamera pleaded, making herself known.

"Tamera? What is going on?"

"Ok long story short, Adam is in love with my sister and he wants to find her to tell her that. I'm completely ok with it, so can you just tell him where she is?"

"She didn't want to stay here. She didn't want to risk seeing you guys so I told her she can go house sit for my parents. Their house is in Richmond."

"That's like five hours away" Adam complained.

"Then you better get going. Pete took her to the train station about five minutes ago. You could probably catch her there" Roxy mentioned.

"Thank you" he said and sped out the door with Tamera and Pamela following. They all got in the car and strapped in. Tamera turned the key to switch on the engine, but it didn't start.

"Oh come on" Tamera shouted. She tried continuously, but it still didn't start.

"Shit" cursed Adam.

"Sorry Adam. I'll order a taxi and you can probably make it" Tamera offered.

"I got a better idea" Pamela said. She pointed outside to see a bicycle leaning against the fence of Roxy's neighbours garden. Tamera and Pamela waved goodbye as he pedalled down the street.

"Good luck Adam" Tamera called out.

Several hours later, Libby had just arrived to Roxy's parents house in Richmond. As she paid the taxi driver, she went inside the house with her bags. With a heavy sigh, she dropped her bags to the floor and closed the front door. It wasn't long before there as a knock at the front door. Libby's eyebrows drew together in confusion. As she opened the door, an elderly woman stood with an umbrella in hand.

"Hello there dear. You must be Libby. I'm Gladys the neighbour." the elderly woman mentioned.

"Hi. Nice to meet you" Libby said.

"Just thought I'd come thank you for taking care of the house sitting while I go bingo" Gladys uttered.

"Not a problem. Hope you have fun."

"Thanks dear. Just have a few things to tell you before I go. The fish have already been fed, so there's no need to bother with that. I have filled the refrigerator with food, so there's no need for you to order out. You just need to water the plants" Gladys informed her.

"Got it. Have a good time" Libby said and went to shut the door, but Gladys stopped her.

"Oh and I opened a window to let some air in upstairs, if you could just close it for us" Gladys added.

"Sure."

"Ok. Good luck" Gladys said and took off down the path to a car waiting for her. With a sigh, Libby closed the door. As the car with Gladys in was out of sight, a taxi pulled up outside the house. Adam exited the taxi and was stood outside the house.

Inside, Libby had turned the heating on and opened the fridge to see what was inside. She pulled out a tin, the label read 'Anchovies'. Having a look of disgust on her face, she threw it back in the fridge and shut the door. A knock on the front door, stopped her in her tracks.

"I swear to god if this Gladys" she started, walking to the door. As she opened it, she came face to face with Adam. Libby's mouth dropped open in surprise.

"Libby, hi" he said. Without responding, she slammed the door shut and leaning against the door.

"Libby? Libby can you please open the door? Libby, please. I need to talk to you" Adam pleaded from the other side of the door.

"What are you doing here? How did you get here?" she asked.

"Roxy told me where you were. I need to talk to you."

"Why would she do that?" she wondered.

"Look, I'll explain everything. Just open the door" he said.

"No. You shouldn't even be here. I don't want you here, so just go away."

"I'm not leaving. Not until we talk" he told her.

"I don't want to talk to you. Just leave before I call the police" she warned.

"Fine" Adam said. Libby sighed with relief thinking he had gone. A shadow figure caught Libby's eye from the kitchen window. Turning on the kitchen light, she saw Adam scaling a tall tree at the side of the house.

"What are you doing?" she asked. He stopped climbing and looked towards her.

"You won't let me in, so I'm going to have to let myself in."

"And how are you going to do that?" she wondered.

"Through the open window up there" he mentioned and continued to climb.

"Open win-" she stopped as she realised about the window.

"Gladys" she cursed and ran upstairs to the room with the open window.

Looking out the window, Libby saw that Adam was now halfway up the tree and seemed to move faster by the minute.

"You are wasting your time with this, because I'm closing the window. Might as well as give up now" she called down to him. He ignored her and just continued to climb.

"You know what? Do what you want. See if I care, just know the window is closing now" she warned and shut the window. Seconds later, she opened it up again.

"You know you are going to get hurt or worse, so I suggest you just stop."

"Thought you didn't care?" he said looking up at her.

"I don't" she lied.

Soon, he made it all the way to the top. There was still some distance between the window and the tree, Libby looked at him with her arms folded.

"Now what Rambo?" she asked.

"A leap of faith."

"What?"

"Just hope you'll catch me" Adam said.

"Wait no Adam don't." Suddenly, Adam leapt off aiming for the window, while Libby held her arms out with sudden panic on her face. His hands caught the window sill and was now dangling at the side of the house. Libby with all her might, pulled him up. As she pulled him up, she fell backwards bringing Adam down with her. They both winced in pain. As the pain slowly subsided, Adam lay on top of Libby staring at her. It wasn't long before Libby started to hit him repeatedly and Adam tried to protect himself from her blows.

"Are you crazy? You almost gave me a heart attack!" she shouted. Adam then managed to grab her hands and pinned her down before slamming his lips down onto hers. A slight moan escaped from her mouth before she realised what she was doing. His grip on her had loosened during the kiss that she managed to push him off of her.

"What are you doing?" she questioned. Wiping her lips with her sleeve, she stood up as Adam continued to lay on the floor.

"You have seriously lost your mind" she snapped. He sighed and stood up with her.

"I've lost more than that" Adam muttered. It turned silent and they both stood gazing into each other's eyes. Libby was the first to look away after a few moments.

"Why are you here? What do you want?" Libby inquired, folding her arms.

"You. I want you" he confessed.

"How warped is your brain right now or did you get a sudden case of amnesia? I want nothing to do with you and you hate me for pretending to feel something for you."

"Libby, I know" he informed her.

"You know what?"

"Pamela told me. She was the one who told you to lie to me about not having any feelings for me" he said.

"Why would she tell you that?" Libby asked.

"Because she knows I'm in love with you, just as much as you are with me" Adam replied. She caught herself staring at him again and him right back at her. Once again, her gaze darted towards the floor and her arms had dropped to her side.

"She's wrong and she didn't make up a lie. I told you the truth. I want nothing to do with you" she lied.

"Look me in the eye and say that" he ordered. Her gaze still focused on the floor, until he started to slowly walk towards her. As she saw his shoes, she lifted her head to meet his eyes. He was inches away from her. He licked his lips as he looked at hers and back up to her eyes. Slowly reaching out with his hand, he gently cupped her cheek.

"I love you. I'm so in love with you that I catch my breath whenever you're near" Adam admitted. Before Adam had the chance to lean in, Libby pulled away.

"Stop doing that. If we were supposed to happen, you wouldn't be with my sister. Go back to your fiancé and leave me the hell alone" she said. Before she had a chance to leave, he grabbed her arm to stop her.

"She's not my fiancé anymore" he told her. She turned to face him with a look of anger on her face.

"You broke off your engagement to my sister?" she spat, pulling her arm from his grasp.

"I didn't. She did" he corrected.

"What? Why would she do that? She loves you" Libby questioned.

"She found out about us" he informed her. Anger had now left her, Libby was now saddened by Tamera finding out.

"How?"

"She overheard us talking last night" Adam said.

"She came by my work and said that if we wanted to be together, who was she to stand in the way" he added. Tears soon filled her eyes.

"She was the one who helped me realise that you love me" he told her.

"Does she hate me?" she asked.

"No. I don't think anyone could ever hate you" Adam assured her.

"You did. You hated me for what I did" Libby pointed out. Her tears started to fall and Adam cupped her cheek again.

"Libby, I tried to hate you. I really did. I couldn't. Even what you did didn't change how I felt. I was angry, but I never hated you" he admitted.

"That's not what it felt like. When you left that day, I felt like I couldn't breathe...and when you said it was a curse meeting me, I- I just felt like I was dying. I'm so sorry for what I did" she sniffed.

"I'm sorry for what I said to you. I was hurt and angry for thinking that you didn't love me" Adam said.

"I have never been in love with anyone more than I am with you. I love you" she whispered and pulled him to her. As their lips touched, she moaned with pleasure as he lifted her up. She wrapped her arms around his waist as his hands held her up. Her arms wrapped around his neck. As she pulled away from his lips slightly, they looked at each other smiling.

A few days later at the nightclub Haven, on a typical Friday night, the place was packed with people drinking and having a good time. Among the people were Libby and Adam sat down at the booth specifically for Anonymous kissing, who were soon disrupted by someone clearing their throat. As they looked in the direction of the noise, Pamela stood.

"You guys going to be doing that all night or can I get to my drink?" she asked. Rolling their eyes, they moved round the booth so Pamela could sit down.

"I think she's trying to say get a room" Terry said who had shortly arrived a little after Pamela, sitting down next to her. Soon after, Tamera and her new boyfriend Roger weren't far behind. Tamera held a tray full of shots and placed them down on the table.

"Leave them alone, they are in love" Tamera uttered and downed a shot. Roger and Tamera passed the shots round to everyone.

"Ok guys bottoms up" Tamera said. Once everyone had a shot, they clinked their glasses in the middle of the table and downed their shots.

"Ok time for dancing. Let's see what moves you've got Terry" Pamela shouted and pulled him from his seat to the dance floor without giving him chance to refuse.

"Shall we show them how it's done, honey?" Roger asked Tamera.

"Let's do it" she agreed and they both headed out to the dance floor.

"What do you say? Shall we go and embarrass ourselves too?" Adam inquired to Libby.

"Fuck it let's do it" Libby replied. Getting up from the booth, they moved their way over to the dance floor. As they reached the dance floor, Adam put his hand on Libby's waist and held her hand with the other. He spun her around a couple of times on the spot and dipped her.

"You used to be so good at this, what happened?" Libby inquired as lifted her back up from dipping her.

"You just want me to dip you again, don't you?" Adam asked. She smiled and gave him a light peck before he went to dip her again. She laughed in delight as he held her in his arms as they spun round together.

The end.
