The streetlights on the highway seemed to flash with the beat of the song as well drove under them.
The sun had dipped behind the sea of earth and let darkness envelop around this world. I was in the passenger's seat, staring at the dark silhouettes of trees and buildings. The highway seemed desolate, only a car or two appearing as we sped by them. I leaned against the door, propping my head into my palm and placing my elbow on the door. He had taken me somewhere nice, somewhere romantic, somewhere that required my hair to pin up, make-up to touch up my lips and for a dress to decide to end at the base of my thigh. I had chosen a strapless blue dress and covered it with a jean jacket. I clicked my black heeled boots together. He said my name. I shivered and looked over at him. His eyes remained sternly focused on the road.
"Y-yes?"
"You okay?"
"Totally"
He fell silent. We drove onwards for a while, the only sound being my playlist. He let me choose the songs for the drive home. I had put on the songs I listen to when I fall asleep. They were calming yet energetic, seemingly perfect for this trip. I decided to speak.
"Taking me home or…?"
"Home."
"Wanna talk a bit?"
"Sure. Anything on your mind?"
"Not really. Just savouring the moment."
He nodded before speaking again.
"So what will you do when you go home?"
I thought for a moment.
"Wash off the make-up, put my pjs on and probably lay down and color"
"Gonna switch up your pjs?"
"Not really. T-shirt and boyshorts work perfectly for me. If anything I might put on a tanktop if it gets too hot."
The next song in my playlist had just started. I leaned over to change it, thinking that he wouldn't like it. He gently grabbed my hand.
"It's fine. This songs ok so long as you want to hear it."
I looked over at him. I smiled and giggled. He glanced over at me. He quickly let go of my hand, using the hand to steer us to a stop on the side of the road. I panicked.
"S-sorry. I'll be quiet."
He sighed as he put the car in park. He sat back and sighed. A few minutes passed.
"Are you okay?"
He looked at me. I saw him twitch. He leaned over and trapped my lips with his. Each kiss slowly grew more eager, more hungry. His hand grasped the back of my neck and held me to him. He pulled back just enough to allow him to dip to my neck. His kisses tingled me and each lick made me shiver. I moaned his name. He pulled all the way back and faced the road again.
"You're not going home tonight."
I nodded. We drove off again. I returned to my earlier position, trying to calm my blushing face. His hand suddenly fell on my knee. I jumped looking at him.
"Is this ok?"
"...yea."
I stared out the window again as we drove down the new route. I resisted the urge to sigh, to shiver as his hand move up to my thigh and gripped it.
