It was beautiful outside that day, and I felt a little nostalgic as I looked around and took in the environment around me. I was a daydreamer, and always will be, I thought to myself. I loved the colors, the easy sway of the waters carrying me in my floaty, and the way the seagulls would circle around above in the bright blue sky that was adorned with little wisps and puffs of clouds which reminded me of paintbrush strokes and little cotton balls. I could hear the seagulls crying above me, and I closed my eyes as I drifted./div

I didn't particularly like the feel of things between my toes, but I managed to get down to the shoreline just fine, as the sand would bunch up between my little toes and stick to my feet. There were so many people along the beach; some were tanning on the sand, others playing volleyball, and still others out in the crashing waves surfing or boogie-boarding. It was such a wonderful experience to be down at the ocean, and I loved how the sand along the shoreline was bejeweled with tons of seashells!/div

While I went along the shore collecting my favorite seashells, my brother went down to the waters of the beach, and mom kept her eyes on both of us carefully./div

It's so big!" my brother exclaimed from the shallow waters. He and an older man were standing out there next to some big bulge that looked like a rock from where I stood. "It's a turtle, mom! Look!" he yelled over to us./div

"That's really cool!" mom told my brother and then urged him to come back away from the turtle so that it wouldn't get scared./div

I think if he could, the turtle would've waved as he slowly swam away, and it made me wish I was in a movie and that we could see what Mr. Turtle's next adventure would be. I still couldn't believe a turtle bigger than my brother swam that close to shore! It was the most amazing thing I'd seen, and it made my first trip to the beach extra special!/div

I had it all planned out in my thriving imaginative mind: I'd empty my pail out into the bathroom tub (because it was the perfect size for an aquarium!) and then add some water and maybe some fishes eventually! It would be great, I thought, and hopefully my little surprise would make my parents very proud of me, because it would show them how thoughtful I am./div
