ANDDDD I'M DONEEEE! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO REVIEWED, READ, FAVORITED AND FOLLOWED, YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST. ALL THAT BLOOD, SWEAT & TEARS (shameful advertising of the new-ish BTS song) WAS WORTH IT. I'M SORRY IF IT SEEMS TOO RUSHED BUT THOSE WHO'VE READ MY STORIES WOULD KNOW THAT MY ENDINGS SEEM TO ALWAYS SUCK.
He surprises her during their last year of university by transferring over to her university.
She gapes at him when he stands outside her dorm room, with his suitcase and a bag slung across his shoulders.
"Surprise!" Dylan yells.
She blearily rubs her eyes, thinking she's hallucinating because she misses him so much.
When she just stands there staring at him after she drops his hand, he yanks her into his arms.
The hard chest she's pressed into tells her that she's not dreaming nor is she hallucinating.
She lets out a squeal and throws her own arms around her boyfriend. He picks her up easily and twirls her until they're both dizzy.
She wastes no time leading him back to her room.
Sharla and Maya are both awake, staring curiously at her until they see Dylan with his luggage in hand.
"What are you doing here?" Maya asks him.
Dylan drops his suitcase and bags in the corner of the room before grinning at them. "I transferred here."
They all gasp simultaneously.
She vaguely hears Sharla babble while Maya calls Ethan, screaming into the phone.
She's too busy launching herself into Dylan's arms for the second time in the small span of time. "Really?"
He nods at her, his hands easily wrapping around her as her legs wrap around his waist. "You told me you wanted us to graduate together."
She doesn't ask him much more because she knows all he's sacrificed for her and she doesn't need him to tell her for her to feel how much he loves her.
A part of her thinks Ethan is more excited than she is. With her brother being the only guy, he's usually coerced into their plans but with Dylan, Ethan seems to think that he'd even out their group dynamic.
She's just excited that she'd be able to spend more time with him.
They all graduate together one year later.
Their parents are all there and their friends have all flown in just to congratulate them and she loves them for that.
She ignores all the sly looks Dylan's mother seems to be giving her constantly and all the pats on the back her dad gives her boyfriend because she's too happy celebrating and taking pictures with her friends.
Her friends all catcall and scream at them when she plants a kiss on Dylan's lips during one of the photos and goes red right afterwards.
It's all a happy moment for all of them because they've graduated and they have their futures ahead of them.
Dylan Kinsella.
Shaggy black hair, broad shoulders and a subtle muscular build.
She doesn't remember how the crush started but she's had a crush on him since the beginning of middle school.
Being an official university graduate now, she's proud be standing next to him, holding hands as their parents hustle and bustle around them taking photos.
The simple band on her ring finger sparkling, promising her the future.
To her, Dylan had always been unreachable, undatable, especially to someone like her, so when she wakes up to him curled right next to her, she thinks how lucky she is to have her.
When he first told her he loved her, it was almost improbable for him to like her but he still fell in love with her.
She had always wanted someone who understood her without needing her to voice every single thing out, someone who didn't need her to be someone else.
It made her realise how lucky they are to have each other.
