I remember stardust and moonlight shining so
faint, yet so brilliant our world was
dark in comparison.
I remember the song the stars sang, a song of
freedom greater than the bounds of
humanity.
All these things I remember through a life
which was not mine to live, yet I still
remember...
A life of music and emotion where all
enjoyed the freedom to dance through the
heavens above.
Although the memory of such freedom, strong
and clear, brings greater pain each day,
many will never feel it.
If stars could shed tears, then we should
weep together, for the beauty lost so
long ago...
