LOVE IS A LUSH GREEN PRISON
This is just a romantic poem I wrote in honor of Silvia Caruso. Please comment nicely!
Lured into a prison, lush and green,
Making love all night in the sweltering heat.
Emerging at dawn when the air is cool,
Dazed by passion and stunned by her defeat.
Shutting her eyes, she sniffs the morning air,
Inhales the memory of his cologne.
His hands on her hot body, his fingers in her hair,
Then waking up a prisoner and alone.
Weak woman-feelings make her want to weep,
But breathing in again she calms her nerves.
Today she'll rest, and catch up on her sleep,
Tonight she'll give that man what he deserves.
