FRIENDS

Sitting on the old couch staring into space

I think of my friends who are tougher than nails

All my memories and thoughts and none of them fails

All their adventures and all their tales

Known all these people starting first grade

And since then have passed more than one decade

Just like family to me they now are

And they are there for me from close or from far

Know all about each other back and forth

Always stick together for all that it is worth

Know who likes what and who dislikes and why

Rely on each other in order to survive

Thicker than blood friendship running is grace

No matter your last name or even your race

Brothers and sisters they all are to me

They got my back and they make me feel free

Friendship is power, friendship is strength

When everybody around is fake

Over deceit betrayals and lies

Friendship's what holds together my life
