Chapter 7

It was barely light when Ben awoke in the morning. The bed was empty and for a moment he panicked but when he rolled over he saw the naked Jill standing at the window with her back to him peeking through the shades.

"Wow, what a sunrise," he said, adoring her backside.

She giggled in response as she glanced over her shoulder. "It stopped snowing," she reported. "Looks to be at least a foot."

"Man," Ben said, sitting up on the bed and watching her as she turned to face him and he saw her full beauty as she made her way back to the bed.

"I don't want to leave," she whimpered as she knelt on the bed by his side and kissed his nose.

"Your grandmother," he reminded her.

"I know," she sighed, pushing him back on the bed and falling on top of him, pulling the covers over them for warmth and comfort as she nestled against him.

"You were never A Third, Ben," she assured him, kissing the bottom of his chin.

"I wasn't?"

"I knew as soon as you said yes when I asked you to drive me home that you were the best," she said. "You've always cared. You've always been nice. You've always waited."

"You are worth the wait," Ben told her.

"So, we're dating," she laughed. "Can you handle that?"

With the other two you mean?" Ben asked.

"Mike's going to be an asshole about it," she predicted.

"There are other friends at Hillsboro High," Ben grinned.

"Isn't it ironic that my Grandmother's stroke turned into our luck?" Jill asked with amazement as Ben leaned in to kiss her.
