She turned blue as she looked at her,
And no matter how hard she tried she
Forgot how to be pink again.
She watched her turn blue and soon she
Saw how their blues matched and undulated,
Meeting like sky and sea on the horizon, as they
Blend till the naked eye cannot discern where one
Ends and the other begins.
Her voice rang out in the quiet mist, and her
Eyes flashed lights in the darkness.
Suddenly it was dawn, and the watched from
Opposite shores, the stillness and
Forbidden looks of longing.
Dusk arrived to see them as they sat side by side and watched the
Sky and sea melt into one, and
Forget the forbidden longing
