So I was going to write this one on Tuesday, but I got sidetracked. So all of this week's logs will be mixed together.
Yesterday was a weird day for me. I got to work and I was tired, and the day was just dragging on, and then, at about 10:30 I started remembering all of the embarrassing things that I've said ever. It totally just killed all of my motivation and mood. That really sucked. I got home and I still felt like crap, so I started messing with Hyrule Warriors again. I love swapping models in this game. I sometimes get hilarious results, like yesterday when I swapped Agitha's model over Darunia's. The best part of that, period, is her running animation. I also found another guy who was doing the same thing I was, but in a very different way. He is using TCPGecko, a cheat code program, and I'm just replacing everything with Cafiine, a file swapping program. I'll talk with him tomorrow and see if we can make our hacks more stable. This would make the faces not scary on my end, and the game more stable on his.
I got to talk to him on today, and he currently doesn't have his Wii U with him, and it has been a few months since he last did it, so once he gets it back, he'll message me again, hopefully. He told me that he was swapping the ID of the weapon that the game loads, so maybe if I look into the menu files... No dice in those menu files so far. I hope that it isn't controlled by the .rpx file, the Wii U's equivalent of .exes. I have to continue looking into the files more. My throat felt dry all day today. Hope it doesn't happen tomorrow.
I'm sick. I don't know where I got this from, or how long I'll be sick, but I only could stand to work for an hour. I had to go home after that. The roads were frozen from recent snow and rainfall in the city, and the city doesn't exactly keep up on it, until someone gets in a crash. So I got to walk home, sick, in twenty degree weather, slipping and sliding all the way. On top of all of that, we couldn't get our car out of the driveway, so I can't go to the hospital today either. It also meant that I had to help with 'shoveling' up some of the ice from the driveway. That took a good hour and a half of work, and since I wasn't feelin' so great, I thought I was going to die. Sorry about all of the griping and complaining in this one, I just realized how whiny this all sounds...
I have Strep throat. Great. Thanks tonsils. This'll be the third time I've been sick within a matter of five weeks. The way my throat originally felt? Dry? Sore throat. Started coughing today. Woke up with a fever, etc... Ugh. This week's been a great one.
Until next time, I guess...
