Clouds no where near

A body in a wooden bed

People gathered around a hole

A man speaking words to the group

The sun hanging high at noon

A wooden bed lowers into the dirt grave

Shovels pick and throw dirk upon it

A flower falls down in with the dead

Soon the speaker falls silent

A hush among the group

Sobs of loss and sadness washes through

Rain drops roll down the cheeks of a man

The sky clear yet filled with rain

The sunniest day of the year

"How convenient it rained today."

His tear plummets to the ground

The group disperses

He stood in the burning light

Letting the rain of sadness stream down his face.
