A/N: Angsty poem. Enjoy!

I'm on the roof up at night
I can see the sun through pinpricks of white
I dearly wish that I may, that I might
Be rescued very soon from my plight

I'm looking for a loved one, a lost one
But all I can think of is the last time you spoke to me
I'm waiting for dawn to see the sun, the bright sun
But all I can think of is how you said "I" instead of "we"

Did you want to leave?
Did you like to stay?
'Cause I wanna believe
That you loved me too much to say

The sun burns my eyes
Somewhere, someone else dies
My wish, my light, my love, my prize
I lived, I lived, and you paid the price

When you lived the world was dazzling and dizzying
So tell me it stopped spinning when you died
I'm waiting for my heart to stop breaking, stop bleeding
But I cried myself to sleep tonight and time flied

Did you want to leave?
Did you like to stay?
'Cause I wanna believe
You loved me too much to say

Tell me you loved me too much to say…

Didn't you?
