Since meeting him, her life had become an adventure. Like any real adventure, it was at times very uncomfortable, and very uncertain. It was, after all, her life, and not some storybook guaranteed to have a happy or tragically beautiful ending. (Although, she didn't think any tragic ending to her life would be very beautiful.) Like any legitimate adventure, it was also very interesting, with lots of plot twists and unexpected surprises (she shook her head mentally over the redundancy.) But for all the uncertainty and surprises, she never wanted out. He was worth it, she knew absolutely, worth every bit of it. And she trusted him, when he said one day it would all get better. She just couldn't help her nerves when there was finally a possibility of it doing so.

But despite nerves and occasional despair, she never wanted out. He was worth every second, and she didn't regret it.
