This poem was honestly an experiment. Dunno what my goal was, and I don't think I reached it, but it's a cute nature poem regardless.

"Treekeeper"

.

A caterpillar in a tree

slinky-dinks across leaves to feed

to grow and change and fly free~

The slug on the ground will move

By everyone's feet, never need—

I am the aspen roots, sharing

the bugs with my tree;

There aren't creatures I kill with my bark,

I can bite and be…

I am the treekeeper, planted deep.
