Destruction

The land is covered in filthy waste; A large blanket of horror.
CRASH! Did you hear that? That's the sound of timber going snap.

Loss of the trees is a loss of air, Yet do we have the heart to care?
Nature calls to us in a pleading voice, But we ignore it so; that's our choice.

We all suffer from humanity's cruel grasp, And yet many say they care.
They're the ones who throw their litter on the street, And then sit back and flaunt their hair.

It's not just nature; there is more. There are animals with living conditions so poor. Second by second, they're gone with the wind. And there is no one to blame but us.

Tell me, everyone, Can we make a change? Or are we stuck forever, In this insufferable pain.
