I thought you were different;
I hoped you would be.
You were straightforward.
You spoke plainly and honestly;
I mistook that for an invested man.
I forgave your transgressions,
Gave you time and cautious trust.
I took chances on you that I can't get back.
In return, you fed me lies.
I asked you for nothing,
but you conjured up a fantasy anyway.
You wanted in, wanted me to invest.
You asked for my trust and I gave it.
You took all the steps,
Made all the plans.
You created this. You fueled it.
Then you left me like it didn't exist.
I wont chase you; you betrayed me.
I just want to sleep.
