3 DaysLater

Ester woke with a start when she felt Mr. Bane open the door to basement. Eyes flashing open she saw Aria reading in a chair at the foot of her bed, and was out of bed before her sister realised she was awake.

"Did you wake on your own or did someone enter the basement?" Aria asked looking up from book. The young mute held up two fingers to show it was the second option. The older girl sighed and walked toward the door.

"I'll deal with the visitor you may want to have a shower," she said over her shoulder. Ester nodded even though Aria couldn't see, grabbing some clothes, and heading to the basement bathroom. She slowly stripped all clothing before stepping into the shower. She could feel her water proof make-up running down her face because of the cleaning agent in the water. The only reason she wore make-up was because she was unnaturally pale and to hide the white scars covering her body. She had designed a naturally pale suit to wear so no one would see her scars that reflect light. So to look natural she wore make-up of the same skin tone. After she was clean she dressed in her body suit then clothing over the top While she was dressing she noticed a new crescent moon mark on her skin, it shined like her scars but she never got a scar in that shape, she shrugged and made a note to ask Mr. Bane later. When she was dressed she matched her make-up, then headed out to see what Mr. Bane was doing at her house, and who was with him. She could hear Aria asking why he had come in from the doorway. When she reached the hallway that lead to the stairs, she heard Mr. Bane fall silent and felt his and the other persons eyes on her. Standing next to him was a young women with black and white streaked hair and striking blue eyes. Somehow Ester knew that the young women was Crea, the snow tiger from the woods.

"Hello Ester I'm glad to see you are well," greeted Mr. Bane as he tried to inch passed Aria but she stuck her arm out in front of him, stopping him from moving any further into her sisters sanctuary.

"Sorry, Mr. Bane but only people Ester trusts can come down here." She didn't sound at all apologetic.

Crea growled, glaring at Aria, but the brunette stood her ground. By this time Ester had reached the end of the hall and was standing behind her sister. She looked up at her shrink, a question in her eyes.

"I have organised with your parents that you will be staying at your fathers, Stables, so we can train and educate you in the TrueBlood world before you go the Aroha Academy for Magical Beings." Ester paused, thinking about it. On one hand she would be able to learn about a secret culture however on the other hand, the responsibility that went with that according to him was something she didn't think she was worthy of. As she was contemplating she felt that foreign presence from before, trying to get into her head. She tensed and fought against it, looking over at Crea she saw the look of concentration and frustration on her face, glaring she shoved as hard as she could against the stranger. Mr. Bane looked between them, then focused on Crea.

"Stop, I told you not to force her," he said sternly, Crea just growled and tried harder. At this point Ester was getting scared.

"I said STOP!" He shouted, causing both to flinch. Crea lost concentration and Ester's survival instincts kicked in, she forcefully shoved Crea away and emotionally shut down. Crea stumbled back a few steps and Ester turned into doll mode. Mr. Bane's eyes widened when he saw the dead look in the young girls eyes. Then he realised what happened and swore under her breath. Aria who knew her sister's reaction to aggravation swung around and hugged Ester, softly singing in her ear while stroking her hair.

Who loves you, pretty baby?
Who's gonna help you through the night?
Who loves you, pretty kitty?
Who's always there to make it right?

Who loves you, pretty baby?
Who's gonna help you through the night?
Who loves you, pretty kitty?
Who's always there to make it right?

Who loves you?
Who loves you, pretty baby?
Who's gonna love you, kitty?
Who loves you?
Who loves you, pretty baby?

By the third verse Ester was back to herself. She pulled back from her sister's embrace and turned to Mr. Bane.

"Yes I will go to the stables with you, as long as Aria can come to." He nodded.

"It wouldn't hurt Aria to practice and she might even be able to help." Aria nodded, then turned to Crea who had recovered as was now staring at Ester in shock.

"Who the Hell are you?" She demanded. Crea swung around to face her, glaring.

"I am Peace and Moon, and you missy need to respect your superiors," she growled. Aria tensed but made no move to apologize. Ester look back and forth between all of them confused, then shrugged and sighed. I'll find out later, I guess, she turned to her shrink.

"I'm going to get my bag and Aria needs to pack then we can head out. You and Crea or whatever her name is can wait outside." Then she nudged Aria and tugged at her clothing to let her know she should pack. The older sister nodded, and ushered the adults out of the basement before going to pack.

In the car on the way to the Love Stables, Ester was just looking out the window, listening to the radio when one of her songs came on. Aria looked over and smiled at her, together they sang along.

Thanks for treating me like every boy you meet
So please come in and take a seat
Here's the part when I learn, and you will teach
On how to treat people like a piece of meat
I want a genuine, not a replica
Lethal medicine, a pin to the cornea
A sight for sore eyes
While other guys consume the lie, I'll run and hide

No doors exist on my fortress
The only entrance is the one I bear
You're nothing more than a temptress
I fell victim to a heartless snare

Burn the bitch down
I never will cross that bridge again
I cannot trust you easily
Or think that I'm the only one
I never let people in, and I have you to remind me why
So baby burn the bitch down
I never will cross that bridge again
I'd rather drown

I'm the master of construction
Because I'm building walls like it's my occupation
If you portray a liar, I'll shut you out without hesitation
It's an art form of consummate skill
Of how she plays them like the pawn
Making boys drool at her will
Like Pavlov to the dogs

No doors exist on my fortress
The only entrance is the one I bear
You're nothing more than a temptress
I fell victim to a heartless snare

Burn the bitch down
I never will cross that bridge again
I cannot trust you easily
Or think that I'm the only one
I never let people in, and I have you to remind me why
So baby burn the bitch down
I never will cross that bridge again
I'd rather, I'd rather, I'd rather

Drown me, slit my throat so lightly
Pick me up and drop me right into my grave
And now I wonder, sit alone and ponder
Should I even bother, when I see your face?
The itch I couldn't scratch
Thought I'd come crawling back, but no
I'd much rather, rather, rather, rather, rather
Sing it, guys

I'd rather burn the bitch down
I never will cross that bridge again
I cannot trust you easily
Or think that I'm the only one
I never let people in, and I have you to remind me why
So baby burn the bitch down, I never will cross that bridge again

Go ahead and burn the bridge right down, it's what you wanted
Burn the bridge right down
I'm not the only one, the only one
So baby burn the bitch down, I never will cross that bridge again
I'd rather drown

Ester allowed herself a small smile, while Aria laughed. Ester had written that song about her mother but disguised it as if to be written about a girl Aria knew who loved toying with boys.

When they got to the Stables, the manager was waiting. Ester actually smiled and raced out of the car and into his arms. He gladly embraced her.

"Hey munchkin," he smiled, his vivid midnight blue eyes sparkling as he looked down at her. She pouted sticking her tongue out at the jibe at her height. He just laughed, ruffling her hair. Aria came over offering him a quick hug then went to put her bags inside. Mr. Bane and Crea were approaching more slowly from the car.

"I see you know each other," he stated raising his eyebrows and the stable manager.

"Yeah, she used to come down here every summer and ride with her father," he admitted rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. Mr. Bane narrowed his eyes.

"And you never felt then need to mention that you knew a true blood family that had a girl with supressed abilities."

"Ok hey, she stopped coming when she was ten, which is when she started seeing you and plus you never told me her name." By this time Ester was looking back and forth very confused. She tugged on the blue-eyed mans sleeve getting his attention.

"You know how I used to talk about my husband?" She nodded, "Well that's him." He gestured to Mr. Bane. She nodded in understanding.

"Hello Chris, how's the ranch going?" Asked Crea. Chris responded but Ester was more focus on the new horse she heard. She turned heading in it's direction. Walking to a paddock hidden from the main paths she found a beautiful stallion with snow white hair, pitch black mane, tail and surprisingly what looked like wings. She entered the paddock calling out to the stallion so she could approach with out scaring him. When she was closer she could see that he had bright cyan eyes and did indeed have wings. Looking him in his intelligent eyes she slowly reached forward to touch them. She would have spoken to him but she could feel Chris and his husband watching her.

The next day, Ester, Crea in her tiger form, Mr. Bane or Castiel as she now knew his first name was and Chris, were sitting in Ester's tree house after she had sat through a brief overview of TrueBloods. They were there to help Ester accept and understand her bond with Crea.

"You and Crea are now Soultouched, meaning your souls have linked. This link is unbreakable and irreversible. This link allows you to feel, and sense everything she does. What she see's you see, and vice versa. You can use each others powers and communicate via telepathy over any distance. You sense each other and once you bond you can merge," Cas explained, "what we're going to do today is work on your trust with Crea." Ester nodded warily. "Now I want you to touch your bond mark-" Ester held her hand up to stop him.

"Would that be the silver crescent moon scar that randomly showed up?" She asked, when he nodded she gestured for one minute then stepped into the tree house's bathroom. She removed her make up and took off the body suit. She walked back into the room self-conscious because it was obvious she was unnaturally pale. They all looked shocked but thankfully didn't mention it as she sat back down. She showed her palm where the Bond Mark was. Crea in turn tilted her head so her ear could be seen with the same mark was displayed.

"Okay now I want you to focus on that and what it feels like because that is your direct link to Crea." Ester closed her eyes and did as she was told, immediately she felt a presence in her mind and even though she knew what it was, her instincts pushed it away. Opening her eyes, she shrugged. Cas sighed,

"Ok looks like we're gonna have to get you to trust her."

For the rest of the afternoon they did trust exercises.

I am so sorry if this chapter sounds forced I just couldn't really think of anything.
