The monsters I see are creatures of blinding light,
Cold anger and iced gaze that shines in the dark.
Because blackness is warmth,
All consuming silence when nothingness becomes a sound of its own.
There are many things untold in the dark,
Gentler monsters to behold, however.
Darkness is a comforting whisper in the black night,
The wonders hidden behind the starless sky
It is peace and fear, quiet screams
Drowned in the fury of daylight
