Part 1
Verse 1
My beauty was to be my doom.
Within it I was entombed.
A humble priestess I wished to be,
But it was never my destiny.
Verse 2
I felt his gaze on my flesh,
Like a vile, nefarious caress.
Chased by the monster of the sea,
I trembled in horror and fled to thee.
Chorus
Hear my cries, oh Goddess merciful,
Hear my pleas, hear my agony.
Rescue this creature, this pitied fool,
Oh Goddess, I implore to thee!
Verse 1
The temple felt hollow and cold,
Like a demon devoid of a soul.
I searched but found no sign of thee.
Is this really my destiny?
Verse 2
I felt his hand on my skin,
Like a serpent, wild and slithering.
I felt his tongue graze my bone,
And I felt myself turn to stone.
Chorus
Hear my cries, oh Goddess merciful,
Hear my pleas, hear my agony.
Rescue this creature, this pitied fool,
Oh Goddess, I implore to thee!
Part 2
"How dare you show me your face!"
After you defiled my sacred place!"
It was not my will but his, but I shall atone!
"I shall banish you from my kingdom for eternity.
A monster, that is all you shall ever be!"
You will turn your back on your own?
"Skin of scales, hair of venomous snakes,
You shall tempt none to the same mistake!"
Oh will you not punish the devil of the sea?
"For those who look at you shall turn to stone.
And you shall spend the rest of your life alone!"
You will turn your back on me?
"Now leave, and do not dare to return!
Run, you filthy monster, run!"

Part 3
Verse 1
My beauty has been my doom,
And now all men shall be entombed,
By my gaze, they shall all turn to statues.
A fitting end for a race with no virtues!
Verse 2
A monster, I shall show no mercy,
To valiant heroes who come to destroy me.
Oh serpents, my children, feed on the men,
Let me feel the blood drain off their veins!
Chorus
Hear my hiss, oh Goddess vengeful,
Hear my laughter, hear my insanity.
You have unleashed hell on men, you fool!
You never should have abandoned me!
Bridge
One by one, all men shall fall!
And I shall stand proud and tall!
Part 4
Verse
At long last, I meet my end,
With one sharp blow from a blade.
A creature of beauty and wings,
Is my parting gift to the world so cruel.
I know that you will now adorn,
Your gilded shield with my vanquished head.
And thus I shall become immortal,
And by your side I shall now rule!
Chorus
Hear my hiss, oh Goddess vengeful,
Hear my laughter, hear my insanity.
You think you are victorious, you fool!
But you cannot rid yourself of me!
