I stare in wonder at the beast emerging from the faces of above. I stare in envy.

Jealousy clouds my motivation to fly beyond all else, towards that burning sun.

Towards that young, burning sun.

Oh, towards that burning sun.

Envy blinds my thoughts, my life, my legacy. The legacy I will never completely fulfill.

Legacies emit from behind the angels and their shielded wings. Under lies their ground. Under lies our failures.

Decades worth of enhancement breach what my soul relies upon, an acting desire to be authority. To be dream.

My flaming calls combust my heart. My foundation. My burning foundation.

A child looks at my mirror. They desire to be me without a second thought. Oh so wrong. Oh so wrong, says the burning sun.

Oh, that burning sun.

A fading echo dims its energetic flame by throwing me to the oceans of wax and ash below. It melts the gravity pushing me above itself.

My eyes purify in the burning light. I see the present. I see the past. I saw the future.

I see the future, burning my wings, as I fall below that burning sun. Oh, that burning sun.

It pains me to view the excess stars as I drown in gas and dirt.

The gas burns my wings. The light ignites. The light ignites. I fly away from that beautiful, legendary burning sun. That burning sun.

Oh, that burning sun.

The fault remains my own, shredded by doubt and blame. My heart fades as the dense air and smoke reminds me of what little resources I burn, blinding my light.

The fire fades.

The fire fades.

The fire fades.

I shroud in the darkness of the ice without the blessed heat I surely despise. Without the warmth of failure and terror. Without the burning of that sun.

Oh, that burning sun.

The oils in the sea, inflammable, quenching the stars in the sky. The scars in my eyes. The scars in my lies.

My wings sprout a final time, but are torn asunder by the acid melting away my cell. My greyed cell.

My fire fades in a language of remembrance, stabbing me from the inside, as I float above that cold, dying sun.

That dying sun.

That dying sun.

That dying sun.

Oh, that dying sun.
