Before the Eternal One, our Holy God, I appeal to you regarding our misery and bondage in sin and our only hope of salvation: in the merits of the Mediator, Jesus Christ.

Ever since Adam ate the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden on behalf of us, we have chosen to perpetually break His Holy Law and go our own way, not realizing that any way other than God's leads to well-earned, eternal conscious torment in Hell. Our consciences attest to this. For example, the Law tells us we should not kill our neighbor, but Jesus, who came in part to teach us the spiritual truth behind the letter of the Law, reminds us that in God's eyes, being angry with someone is equal to murder before any physical action has been taken. One sent of God, James in his letter (2:10) reminds us that the one who breaks one part of the Law has broken them all.

There isn't space to go on, and what truth is found here is found in the Bible or Word of God. Judge this message by that measuring stick alone.

It is plain that it would be just for Him to toss us into the eternal burnings without a second thought.

"God so loved the world that whosoever believes in him would not perish but have everlasting life," as John 3:16 says. Christ, the Word incarnate, very man and very God, bridged the gap between us and God the Father made by our sin by living the sinless life we could never live and died on the cross to atone for it. Now we must repent of our sin and believe in our heart and confess with our mouths that Jesus is the Christ and that God raised him from the dead (anything more or less will earn a hotter Hell). We will then be saved from the evil of ourselves and this world, the Holy Spirit will come into us, and we will embark on a journey of increasing God-given holiness that will end in Heaven and neverending bliss.

It is our duty, and for our greatest good, to put our trust in the Savior today.

Your time is appreciated.
