Clover then opened his eyes, before noticing he was somewhere new, although he was in a plains, it seemed considerably windy. Although looking around, he saw Sailes staring at him, Wilson appearing on a screen to explain to Clover the situation. "...I see. So we'll be working together after what happened with Byte. So, why are we here?" Clover then asked Wilson.

"We were requested by an anonymous user known as 'Recoder' for you to meet them at these coordinates. We don't know what they want, but they sent us the data for Release Limit, you remember that, of course." Wilson said, Clover nodding, remembering when it was used on him. "Well, we still don't know his aim, so our only real option is to hear them out at this point. After all, we don't even know if the help you were given is enough to deal with those RAM Reapers..." Wilson said, sighing. "Anyways, They should be here soon, and I'm not supposed to listen in. So I'll have to leave you for now." Wilson then concluded, before the screen disappeared, before a user seemed to log on, the same boy from before.

"...So, you made it. I see Wilson brought along what they did with the Release Limit data. I'll cut to the chase." Recoder said, before pointing at Sailes. "As much as I want to help you get back at Byte, I want to know if your side is worth helping, or if I'm better off on my own. If they really utilized that data, I'd prefer clashing your little friend to see." Recoder said, simply, Clover looking over at the boy.

"Are you sure you can handle it? You haven't clashed before, have you?" Clover asked, Sailes nodding.

"Of course. I know all of the rules, and a deck was created for me." He told Clover simply, as Clover nodded, and stepped back, Recoder and Sailes stepping in front of each other, with enough distance for the grids, as they appeared, and their starting hands materialized. "You may take the first move." Sailes said to Recoder, who nodded, and drew.

"In that case, I'll show you what I've obtained from breaking into the data servers back when I wasn't against Byte. You see, just like some NPC boss Creatures, like that Dreaming Dragon in Clover's deck, I hijacked a Creature that wasn't supposed to be obtainable, and I've made it my partner. Come! To the Center-Middle!" Recoder declared, grabbing the card and tossing it, as it disintegrated and became a shining dark blue ball, before bursting into a pillar, as the light blue dragon with binary data around it appeared again, roaring. "Relinkode, Cyber-Vein Dragon!"

[ATK - 100]

[DEF - 5]

"That dragon..!" Clover started, as Recoder nodded.

"Yeah. The same dragon that I broke in with to rescue you. In addition, I summon Relinkode Diva to the Center-Left." Recoder added, flicking the card, as a young woman dressed in binary-themed attire appeared next to the dragon.

[HP - 100]

[DEF - 5]

"Relinkode Diva's effect when summoned. If it's adjacent to a 'Relinkode', I draw a card. Then, if that 'Relinkode' happens to have 'Cyber-Vein' in it's name, I gain an SP, as well." Recoder declared, his SP going back up.

[SP - 1]

"Then, support, activate." Recoder declared, flicking another card as it appeared in front of him. "Cyber Mine. I discard a card from my hand to look at the top 3 cards of my deck. Any 'Relinkode' cards among them are added to my hand, and the rest are discarded." Recoder said, as the top 3 revealed themselves. "Perfect Barrier isn't a Relinkode, but the support 'Relinkode Firewall', and Creature 'Relinkode Shooter' are." Recoder declared, the two cards materializing in his hand, as the other one burst. "In addition, I conceal a Chain, and then, I conceal 2 supports and end my turn. Show me what you can do." Recoder said, simply, the two cards appearing facedown, Sailes looking intently at the field.

I wonder what kind of deck Wilson gave Sailes...Although I guess we'll find out.

Clover thought to himself, as Sailes drew, and held out a card.

"...You've shown me your ace. It wouldn't be fair if I didn't do the same. I summon to the Center-Middle, one of the many cards of data created alongside me..!" Sailes said, Clover looking slightly surprised at the sudden enthusiasm, as Sailes tossed the card, as it became a light blue flash of light, materializing as a white wolf, with a blue aura composed of binary data. "Databyszard, Frostlink Wolf."

[SP - 1]

[HP - 150]

[ATK - 95]

[DEF - 10]

"Databyszard..?" Recoder asked, curiously, Sailes nodding, and tossing another card.

"In addition, I summon Databyszard ROM Magi to the Center-Left." He declared, a humanoid mage composed of white binary appearing.

[SP - 0]

[HP - 100]

[ATK - 80]

[DEF - 0]

"ROM Magi's effect when summoned. I draw a card, then if I have 2 or more 'Databyszard' in the Center row, I gain 1 SP." Sailes explained, as his SP went up.

[SP - 1]

"In addition, support, activate. Card Recycle. I return any number of Creatures from my hand to the bottom of the deck. I return Databyszard Net Priestess, and my second copy of Databyszard Frostlink Wolf." Sailes said, the two cards disappearing. "Then, for every card I put back, I look at 2 cards from the top of the deck, and reveal them, totalling 4." He continued, as the top 4 cards appeared in front of him, and flipped over so Recoder could also see them. "From among them, I add a card to my hand for each card I returned to the deck with this card. I returned 2 cards, so I add these two cards to my hand. Desperate Charge and the chain support, Exceed Limit, to my hand." Sailes said, Recoder raising an eyebrow.

Exceed Limit...I've never seen that one before. I should be cautious with my next move if he conceals it.

Recoder thought to himself, as the cards Sailes didn't add returned to the deck and shuffled, before he grabbed a card in his hand and tossed it facedown, before it grew in size.

"I conceal a Chain Support." Sailes declared, before flicking another card, as it appeared on the Center-Right. "In addition, I will summon Databyszard, Code Angel to the Center-Right." He said, a silhouette of an angel coated in 1s and 0s appearing.

He summoned three creatures to the Center row, but why? Wouldn't Angel benefit more from the back row?

Clover couldn't help but wonder to himself, before Sailes raised their hand up, as the digital Wolf howled, engulfing in blue energy, Recoder's eyes slightly widening.

"Frostlink Wolf's effect. While It's in the center row, it's ATK is increased by 15, and it's DEF also goes up by 5. In addition, If 3 or more 'Databyszard' exist in my center row, you cannot block Wolf's attack." Sailes explained.

[SP - 0]

[ATK - 110]

[DEF - 15]

"Attack Phase. Frostlink Wolf, attack Diva." Sailes declared, the wolf leaping up, and blasting shards of ice at the woman.

[ATK - 110]

At that, Recoder's concealed chain support took on a red glow, Sailes' eyes slightly widening, as Diva was hit, and destroyed, before the chain flipped up.

"When a Creature with 100 or more ATK deals damage by an attack, the chain support activates. Reactive Wall." Recoder declared, as a green aura suddenly engulfed Sailes' field, as Recoder's SP went down.

[SP - 0]

"With the effect of Reactive Wall, I pay 1 SP, and end your attack phase." Recoder said, Clover's eyes slightly widening.

"Just like that, the attack phase is over..? Sailes could've at least attacked one more time..." He said, sighing, before Sailes pointed forward, as their Angel took on a glow.

"At the end of the attack phase, I can activate Code Angel's effect. For every 'Databyszard' that did not attack this turn, I draw a card." Sailes declared, drawing 2 cards. "If I drew 2 or more cards, I also gain 1 SP." He added, before the Angel disappeared. "However, if I use the effect, Angel must return to the bottom of my deck. Then, I conceal 2 supports to end my turn." Sailes finished.

So far, they've been on about even grounds, but they also look like they've just been poking at each other to test their boundaries...Still, I get the strange feeling this clash has only just begun...

Clover thought to herself, staring intensively at the two.
