"I feel it" She said to him, her hand on her belly.
"Can..." He began, reaching his own hand forward, "Can I feel?"
She nodded her head. He placed his ear to her midriff. He could hear the movement of life inside her, and he closed his eyes, tears rolling down his cheeks.
"I'm sorry," She said, her words breaking apart.
"Whose is it?" He demanded in a weak voice.
He stood up straight, his bottom lip trembling, replying.
She closed her eyes, and answered, "Because I thought he was you."
