Raise your arms and voices high,

For those who rest forever more.

Lost are their own cheers and cries,

Amidst the battle's blood and gore.

They who gave their glorious lives,

Against the foe, into the fray,

So they who live may ever thrive,

And past sacrifice be not in vain.

Whatever reason blood hath spilled,

Their honour faultless all the same.

Injustice reigns in any war,

Their loyalty is not to blame.

In death unmatched glory they attained,

By service to their cause and creed.

In our hearts those unknown souls remain,

Forgotten names, immortal deeds.
