"Angel walks by"

The wind whispers do you hear it?

It's getting colder can you feel it?

Ups and downs are going all around

everyone is affected

Masks and gloves people lying in hospital gowns

Breathing their last over there in the corner

With no one else around

But stop

Did you see it

There was a glimmer over there

Don't fight it just feel it

Its gliding through the air

There is an Angel walking by

It goes to you when your lonely,

Your defeated and hopeless

When you feel like you have no purpose

Just feel the breeze

An Angel walks by

People are dying all alone

No one picked up when they called the family on the phone

Barely living, you can hear their breath whistle in and out

Hardly seeing but still feeling as they struggle to last

But what is this a hand slips in theirs and starts to squeeze so tight

A face leans in closer to whisper in their ear "it will be alright"

But stop

Did you see it

There was a glimmer over there

Don't fight it just feel it

Its gliding through the air

There is an Angel walking by

It goes to you when your lonely,

Your defeated and hopeless

When you feel like you have no purpose

Just feel the breeze

An Angel walks by

With a hand in theirs and a voice in their ears they say goodbye

No one notices they are gone except the person by their side

They get up, walkaway and glide right through the doors

I can't tell you everything that you want to know

Just that when it is your time, and no one is sitting by your bed

You forget your best friend

The one who stays with you from beginning till the end

But stop

Did you see it

There was a glimmer over there

Don't fight it just feel it

Its gliding through the air

There is an Angel walking by

It goes to you when your lonely,

Your defeated and hopeless

When you feel like you have no purpose

Just feel the breeze

An Angel walks by

So just relax and breathe deeply

Your Guardian Angel never leaves your side

So, as you whisper goodnight

Feel the whisper as an Angel walks on by
