"Fiction"

Right now, what are you doing?

Are you trying to sleep?

Or stay awake to keep moving

I have not met you yet

This sounds strange

But it won't soon I bet

I feel like I have seen you before

Have you ever gone to that bar with the hardwood floor?

You could be anyone or you could be no one

My head is playing tricks on me

Am I ever going to find out?

Are you real or something I dream about?

Dreams, dreams, they are so many different things

Screams, screams frustrating, I can't figure you out

Please, please I need you to be real, I can't have no doubts

Are you in my head?

Heart crushing me

Am I dead?

You are an angel sent from up above

Am I a character in a book?

What will I see in a mirror if I look?

Impossible to decide

What's real, what's fake, am I just a big mistake

Friction between reality and false are grating in my mind

Like everyone else, or one of a kind

You won't know till your book hits the shelf

Is it made up, is it real?

Who can tell success or fail?

Mercy would be good for a novel

Tell me what to do, do you even bother?

Dreams, dreams, they are so many different things

Screams, screams frustrating, I can't figure you out

Please, please I need you to be real, I can't have no doubts

Are you in my head?

Heart crushing me

Am I dead?

You are an angel sent from up above

Am I a character in a book?

What will I see in a mirror if I look?

Impossible to decide

What's real, what's fake, am I just a big mistake

I have filled the pages of my mind

With thousands of words one at a time

Time can only tell

Who is victorious fiction or reality?

If you find out

Please

Don't tell me
