Day 2 - Post Meteor
Can't say I was surprised when the meteor hit Earth. Probably should have suspected it for some time now. People often like to ignore danger or existential crises. Just put it at the back of your mind and you'll be fine.
Tough luck, guys.
The meteor hit Earth while I was sleeping. I can't tell you what it felt like to be physically changed by massive amounts of weird space rays. But what I do know is that when I woke up, I was already this weird potato-like object.
The house is gone. Blown away. Don't know how I survived, but I did. Probably those weird space rays I was talking about a while ago.
As far as I can tell, the area around me has been completely leveled. Just bits of rubble here and there. Nothing much.
I'm sort of lying on a slab of concrete. I say "sort of" because it's that position between sitting and lying down. Like lying on a beach chair, but it's a bit more inclined. You know what I'm talking about.
The sun's shining pretty bright. Probably 'cause of the massive hole in the atmosphere, but who knows? I can't feel the heat. Well, I can't feel much of anything-physical feelings and emotions. Just an empty feeling of loss in my gut.
