Lee Weiss is the CEO of two of the most reputed substance abuse facilities in New York - Elev8 Centers and Urban Recovery. He has always believed that spiritual assessment of a client helps in preparing an effective overall treatment plan. At his facilities, he gives the clients an opportunity to experience meditation and prayer with other patients in a rich and celebratory environment which has turned out to be extremely deep and healing.
According to Lee Weiss of New York, one of the most significant benefits of spirituality is that it makes people gracious, compassionate while making them flourish and self-actualize. He further explains that it also gives people more time to savor life experiences. In that order, Urban Recovery has curated a spirituality toolkit that includes recovery programs of various types, historic wisdom traditions, and more contemporary practice-based approaches.
