Life

Life is a story
of happiness, horror, romance, and trauma;
some genres more than others.

Life is wandering a flowery field;
peaceful and serene.
only to then be stung by a bee,
or bitten by a snake.

Life is a high mountain with a breath-taking view,
where you can stand above the rest.
But it is also the storm clouds that role in,
the frostbite the severs the limbs,
the fall to the valley below.

Life is everything;
yin and yang.
Brutal, exhilarating,
but always fleeting.
