Monday Evening
7/2/2001

A regular morning
Like they all start out
A Monday
Like no other.

School, bowling, the usual things.
And smiling.
I was enjoying it.
Enjoying my summer.

And then I heard the scream.
And this crazy woman.
Loudly, loudly.
Make it stop.

She was knocking on our door
"Oh, God, nobody's home."
I ran to open it, asked her what was wrong.
"Nothing, nothing, I have a key."

I see the crazy, panicked woman.
Walking up the steps.
And a little boy.
Opening the door.

Turn up the music
just make it stop
ican'tthinkanymore
ican'tblockmythoughts

She's crazy, she's crazy
Thoughts run through my mind
She's crying, she's crying
"She's lying on the table."

God.dead.howcanthatbe?
A little boy, who shouldn't have seen.
And a woman.
Crying, crying.

IWANTTOCURSE
IWANTTOCRY
IWANTTOSCREAM
IWANTTO...

There's people walking by
And nothing you can do
There's nothing you can do
And they're crying.

"She wants you to remember her."
"Where is she now?"
Innocent voices.
Filling my head. And I've got to scream.

Turning to my computer.
Lying on my bed.
Watching t.v.
Eating dinner.

It's a regular Monday night.
The moon is not different, nor the stars.
Surfing the net, the usual stuff.
But it was not a regular Monday evening.

I'm sorry if this was a little general. I had to get it out before I went insane. Depressing, I know. Ummm... if you're wondering, basically everything here is true.
