A WAR FROM BEYOND THE STARS
By:Andrew Troy Keller

I was sitting at home one day--
Watching a cartoon marathon all the way.
When suddenly,there came a roar
Straight from outside my door.

Even though they were wearing capes,
The crew seemed to be from the planet of the apes.

However,it had seemed
To be not what had it seemed.

(Chorus)
They came from a war that was very far--
A war from beyond the stars--
And they needed help removing the gloom,
Or their home universe was doomed.

At least,Mom and Dad should've been glad,
For I've done something outside our pad
And at least,they have a space-hero type
Without the usual hype.

However,I think I've lost something I've ate
After we've gone through that one stargate.
But still,I've kept on going with a roar--
Because of what they came to Earth for.

(Chorus)
They came from a war that was very far--
A war from beyond the stars--
And they needed help removing the gloom,
Or their home universe was doomed.

Then,when we've arrived,
I've seen people trying to stay alive
By those machines that had hunted
Them all and said,"Terminated!"

And then,I've roared,"NO!ENOUGH!
I'VE SEEN ENOUGH OF THIS OF WAR STUFF!
THIS STUPID WAR IS OVER AND IT'S OVER NOW!"

Then suddenly, one of their ships had came down.

And the doors opened,I could've been damned,
For out of the ship had came a man
And he told me that they weren't supposed to be
Where a newly-rebuilt planet was going to be.

I've lowered my head
And apologized in shameful dread.
And then,unlike Tim Burton,
I've given myself the chance to explain my person.

You see,...!

(Chorus)
They had came from very far--
A place of a war from beyond the stars--
And they were in need of help removing the gloom,
For they've thought their universe was doomed.

But as they saw, their universe was never doomed.
