Tears

I've known tears
I've known tears as soft as dew and as salty as the sea
My soul is filled with tears.
I have added my tears to those of my people, the human race, as they watch their children die
in bloody war.
I have lived in the pool of griffin's tears, wept from a being that is no longer here.
I looked over the salty sea, and saw the tears of God.
I've heard countless tears splash into the world of the dead,
and more echoing back.
I know tears, salty droplets of emotion
My soul is filled with tears.
