Sometimes my emotions aren't clear,

No matter how much I want them to be.

They're not black or white,

They're grey.

I don't always know how I'm supposed to feel,

I don't even now if I'm supposed to feel at all.

But I can tell you I'm never blue,

Just grey.

When I know I'm all alone,

I live in my own little world.

There the skies are never a pretty blue,

But grey.

The way you hurt me inside,

I'm overwhelmed with tears everyday,

And the bruises are never black and blue,

They're grey.
