Open Your Eyes

If my prayer kept you alive for one minute longer, my life's purpose has been fulfilled.
How can anyone say that "it's just another stereo-typed person"? For it's still yet another life.
How can people say "good riddance"? You might have been changed.
How can people say "no big deal"? When life is what this deal is all about?
"It doesn't matter." "No big deal." How can anyone's heart get quite so cold?
Or is it that they just don't know – don't understand? Don't want to know. Don't want to understand. I just don't get it.
Can people just not see how precious even one life is? And how special that single life can be?
Open your eyes! Be willing to look. Wear your rose – colored glasses no longer. Can't you see that everything is not "alright"?
Every life is a blessing from God, the Sole Creator of the universe. It doesn't matter if those lives get screwed up or not - it's still another life – still another person who needs help.
Do you just want to ignore the problem? Or do you just not want to see it?
You brush it off as nothing. You cannot see the light.
I can't believe it. This is so wrong. Why can't you see that this is so not right?
It tears me up from the inside out, to see you ignoring everything around you. Going about your lives that you have worked so hard to make as close to perfect as possible.
Open your eyes and see what's wrong. I bet of you: Don't let this go on.
Open your eyes.
