I wrote this poem back in grade four and have had it memorized since then. I just felt like posting it now.
…a school poem
The screams from inside
Make it hard to abide
The horrifying scenes from within
The snap of the whip
And the guillotine snip
And child after child going into the crypt.
No, the teachers are not sad
Because deep inside their hearts they're bad
And evil reigns
Inside their brains.
This is no school nor monastery
For there is a constant obituary
Keep your child inside
When he/she turns five
And don't let them out till they're twenty.
Review, please, and don't take it seriously!!
