Dark Places CE Fleming

This place is definitely dark.

A gathering for black ravens,

To caw mindlessly in such evil.

The streets littered with dead larks,

The tragedy of people madly driven,

This place is definitely dark,

Is not blackness necessarily per say,

But bad things, such as smashing with a cleaver,

And to caw mindlessly in such evil,

Is Gentleman Jack, who has always been,

There in this dreary town where ghosts lurk.

This place is definitely dark,

To the eye that is blinded by ignorance,

It is said to be bliss to those driven

To caw mindlessly in such evil,

Here in this dark place where ravens caw,

The illusions of paradise plague the evil,

More ravens caw, driving all darkly mad,

And then it is completely consumed by evil.
