A Sonnet to the Enmity of Ages Past

The Unicorn and Dragon, Two in One
Delight in battle; the foes of times past
The heirs of rage mislaid; the strife not won
Effervescing feelings that never last
The members two opposing; water, fire
The First to flood with tribulation; woe
The Second blazes anger; raging pyre
Yet spiting all; caressing their old foe
Disloyal lovers, loving love; exult
The hatred is deep; so many oceans
This rage so reveled has major one fault
The love so boundless; space; it owns no pen
Two both alike in dignity; the same
Will love and lose forever; death to claim
