THE PRAIRIE

Outside my bedroom window

The wild sage plants

The knee- high grass

The cattle grazing over the vast prairie

The barb- wire fences

The corral

The Sweet Grass Hills

The clears skies

Skies like you have seen before

Which at night you can see every star

The feeling that you were the only one in the world

The land so simplistic, but yet so complex

Able to see for miles

But just land

Able to see who you are

And what the world really is.
