Playing With Kalediscopes
By: ShinigamiForever

The flash of colors
Did you know
it looks like fireworks to the eye

falling...
falling...

I smile because they are a flag
red, white, and blue
edges are spiky filled with blurs
one thousand rotations

falling...
falling...

One creates a mental vortex
in the center
there is a light
it draws me in like
the poet is drawn to the colors of snow

falling...
falling...

Childishly he smiles up at me
his face is framed in the blue light
cold and warm and dizzying
within the 360 repeated triangles

falling...
falling...

Warmly she looks up to greet me
she reflectes the red light
bright and violent and vivacious
within the hundreds of lines

falling...
falling...

Brilliantly he regards me
a cold edge watching me drown
starkly clean in the white light
frost and winter and newfound hope

falling...
falling...

They tell me to save myself.

A/N: suprising, I wrote this when we were in a computer lab during math. We were making rotations with shapes and stretching them around to form almost kalediscopic artwork, so in my free time I wrote this. Reviews, if I dare ask?
