Forgotten

When I am dead will you remember me?

Will I fade

like sand in the wind

like a stain on your shirt

like scars on an elderly veteran

like screams in an empty hall

like the sweet memories from an innocent childhood that will be destroyed by the memories of an impure adult.

When I am dead will you remember he?

Or will I die like the roses in a forgotten vase

I will be gone, like you lost your innocence

You will, have forgotten me.
