Title: Still Waiting

Author: RaliNeoBlade

Author's Notes: I wrote this in Algebra and was surprised at how well it came out. Anyway, it's a poem about what every teenager goes through(yes, I'm included)...depression. Read and see if you like! BTW, I totally own, no taking w/o my permission.

Life can be so hard at times

I need a helping hand

I reach out for others but soon find

I'm alone. By myself.

I'm cold.

When no one's there to help me

I go it all alone

Sometimes I'm not enough, though, so

I fail. By myself.

I'm empty.

When no one's there to comfort me

I push it down inside

But it has to come up sometimes, so

I cry. By myself.

I'm scared.

That's the way it goes, then

Until someone breaks the ring

'Til I reach out for others and

I find someone. With them,

I'd be warm.

That's how it'll continue

Until someone stops the wheel

'Til I don't have to go alone, and

I succeed. With them,

I'd be light.

It'll go on that way

Until someone brings me out

'Til the pain comes up, and

They hold me when I cry. With them,

I could hope.

But it's still going that way

The wheel keeps turning

I haven't been brought out

So I'm still waiting

And there's not much hope.
