To Love Again
To Love Again

I've learned to live a life that's lonely,

Learned to trust in my strength only.

Lovelessness has taught me hate.

Emptiness bestows my fate.

Love would fill my weakest place,

But darkness saps my strength away.

Love could lead me to your arms,

But apathy brings deadly harm.

Father, please, send me a friend;

Teach me, Lord, to love again.
