I got this idea yesterday and I have been writing about it constantly. This
is just a very short prologue and the rest, or at least chapter 1, I
haven’t quite decided, should be up later today.
WARNING: This story deals with some heavy stuff. School shootings, deaths, blood, to name just a few. I do realized how serious these things are, though I have never gone through any of these things myself and I hope I never have to.
Story: this takes place in the year 2214. The two main characters Chris and Tori are about 15 years old.
The future isn’t what it was cracked up to be. We once studied in school, about our ancestors from the early 2000’s. They thought that a hundred years from their time, the earth would have completely changed; totally relying on computers, the funny one piece suits, complex robots that could actually think, even have established contact with aliens. They were partially right I suppose. The earth did have a major change. But it wasn't all of a sudden. It started out with small things. First cigarettes were first banned from public areas, then they were completely banned. We were required to have some form of exercise everyday. New environment friendly forms of transportation. Harsher punishments for disobeying the law. In fact, they totally disposed of the old laws and came up with new ones. Most people agree with them.
As well as us, humans, have also evolved. Nothing to major. Subtle changes in the human body; the pinkie finger was getting shorter, women were slowly getting more muscular, humans getting shorter, even a bit more of the human brain was being used, our thinking capabilities were getting better. Instead of only 12% of our brain we used 15, then 17.
But the fact that the human race was evolving doesn’t mean it was evolving in a good way. More carefully thought out crimes were able to be committed, the criminals harder to catch. More illegal substances were being made. I’m not saying Homo Sapiens all went down hill. They became more aware of the environment. They became more excepting of people of different sexual orientation, race, and religion.
But again, I’m going off topic. The story I’m going to tell you about, is about one of the deadliest crimes ever committed with success.
$@$@$@$@$@$@$@$@$@$@$@$@$@$@$@$@$@$@$@$@$
There you have it, the prolouge. I know it’s short but the next chapter is 4 pages already with no end in sight. Next chapter you will meet the characters.
